Spasticity Treatment

The most effective symptomatic treatment for Dystonia, that has been demonstrated in numerous studies, involves the use of botulinum neuroprotein and is called botulinum therapy.

Dystonia is a movement disorder in which a person's muscles contract uncontrollably. The contraction causes the affected body part to twist involuntarily, resulting in repetitive movements or abnormal postures. Muscle spasms cause significant discomfort, pain, and loss of labor capacity.

We are proud that our center is equipped with the unique "Dystonia treatment room" in the country. In the Republic of Moldova, only "MedazurMedSpa" neurologists are trained to work with this drug in neurological pathology and have been successfully practicing botulinum therapy since 2005.

Botulinum therapy is indicated for:

  • Blepharospasm
  • Spasmodic torticollis (cervical dystonia)
  • The "writer's cramp" syndrome or focal hand dystonia (FHD)
  • "Post-stroke hand” spasticity
  • Lower extremity paresis
  • Facial asymmetry
  • Pathological synkinesis (facial nerve neuropathy)
  • Migraines and other types of pain
  • Neurovascular Conflicts - Hemifacial spasm.

The procedure's price is determined by the doctor, during the consultation, according to the required number of used units of botulinum neuroprotein.
The treatment ensures long-term effects lasting for 4-6 months.

Botulinum neuroprotein injections represent the revolutionary method in the treatment of movement disorders!
